This data protection notice informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data in connection with the provision of our services and as part of our online offering and the associated websites, functions and content as well as external online presences, for example our social media profiles (hereinafter collectively referred to as “online offering”). For the terms used, such as “processing” or “controller”, we refer to the definitions in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Categories of affected persons

Visitors and users of the online offer (hereinafter we also refer to the data subjects collectively as “users”).

Rights of the data subjects

The person affected by the processing has rights in accordance with Art. 15 – 23 GDPR, which can be asserted against us. An overview of the most important rights is listed below:

  • Right to information about data stored by the controller in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR
  • Right to rectification of data stored by the controller in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR
  • Right to erasure of data stored by the controller in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR

Revocation of consent

Consent is given on a voluntary basis and can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. The data will no longer be processed or deleted after receipt of the declaration of revocation. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Deletion of data

The data processed by us will be deleted or its processing restricted in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. Unless this privacy policy expressly states otherwise, the data stored by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain it.

If the data is not deleted because it is required for other legally permissible purposes, processing will be restricted. This means that the data is blocked and not used for other purposes. This applies, for example, to data that must be retained for commercial or tax law reasons.

Administration, financial accounting, office organization, contact management

We process data as part of administrative tasks and the organization of our business, financial accounting and compliance with legal obligations, such as archiving. In doing so, we process the same data that we process as part of the provision of our contractual services. The processing bases are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c. GDPR, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. Customers, interested parties, business partners and website visitors are affected by the processing. The purpose and our interest in the processing lies in the administration, financial accounting, office organization, archiving of data, i.e. tasks that serve to maintain our business activities, perform our tasks and provide our services. The deletion of data with regard to contractual services and contractual communication corresponds to the information specified in these processing activities.

We disclose or transmit data to the tax authorities, consultants, such as tax advisors or auditors, as well as other fee offices and payment service providers.

We also store information on suppliers, event organizers and other business partners on the basis of our business interests, e.g. for the purpose of contacting them at a later date. We store this data, most of which is company-related, permanently.

Business analyses and market research

In order to operate our business economically, identify market trends and the wishes of contractual partners and users, we analyze the data we have on business transactions, contracts, inquiries, etc. In doing so, we process inventory data, communication data, contract data, payment data, usage data, metadata on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, whereby the data subjects include contractual partners, interested parties, customers, visitors and users of our online offer.

The analyses are carried out for the purpose of business evaluations, marketing and market research. In doing so, we can take into account the profiles of registered users with information, e.g. on the services they have used. The analyses help us to increase user-friendliness, optimize our offer and improve business efficiency. The analyses serve us alone and are not disclosed externally, unless they are anonymous analyses with summarized values.

If these analyses or profiles are personal, they will be deleted or anonymized upon termination by the user, otherwise after two years from the conclusion of the contract. In addition, the overall business analyses and general trend determinations are prepared anonymously wherever possible.

Contact us

When contacting us (e.g. by contact form, e-mail, telephone or via social media), the user’s details will be used to process the contact request and its handling in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. (in the context of contractual/pre-contractual relationships), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. (other requests) GDPR. The user’s details may be stored in a customer relationship management system (“CRM system”) or comparable inquiry organization.

We delete the requests if they are no longer required. We review the necessity every two years; furthermore, the statutory archiving obligations apply.

Website

When using the website, the access to the page, whether the access was successful, the time of access, the volume of data transferred, the IP address, the browser type, the browser version and the operating system used by the requesting computer are collected. The processing is necessary in order to display the website to you properly and to maintain the security of our systems. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) EU GDPR for the fulfillment of contractual obligations and rights or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) our legitimate interest in ensuring the delivery of our website and ensuring the security of the website. The stored log data is automatically deleted after 14 calendar days.
